Who am I?
At heart, I am a learner, a leader, a healer and a person of faith.
In life, I am a wife, a mother, a nurse by trade, and a licensed learning specialist.
My name is Andrea, and I am dyslexic.
I see the world and process information within it differently. That difference is a gift; it allows me to explore and create in my own unique way. I am no longer limited by the symptoms of dyslexia I used to experience in reading and writing (word substitution, leaving out letters in words). This is because a learning specialist led me through a reading program and showed me how to see language in the way my brain was designed to see it. I am grateful and blessed now to share that learning with others through Logos Learning Solutions LLC.
Correcting the cause of learning difficulties is at the core of why I became a learning specialist. There are many techniques and solutions out there that address the symptoms of dyslexia +, ADHD, etc, but this is the first, and only, method I have seen that really looks at the cause, the very heart of what causes those symptoms and seeks to eliminate them. And the best part is, it works!
My husband and both of my children are also neurodivergent, each in their own ways. My eldest has always been academically gifted and has the memory of an elephant when it comes to reading retention. But he couldn’t remember where his shoes were to save his life, he forgot homework and assignments constantly, had to be micromanaged through his morning routine just to get out the door for school each day, and also had some of the most lovely dysgraphic handwriting ever. All the p’s, d’s, b,s 9’s etc were ALWAYS backwards.
My husband and I tried for years to work on these challenges with different techniques and plans to help our son to be more organized, emotionally regulated, and able to more clearly communicate his thoughts with the written word. Nothing worked until we were introduced to this method of correcting the cause of the symptoms and behaviors we were experiencing.
Around May of 2024 I heard about a way to work with neurodivergent learners in a way that uses their gifts to help correct their challenges. We watched as one of our son's classmates, who had been failing 7th grade math, completed a math program and in little over a week’s time went from failing to receiving A’s in that same class, with the same teacher and the same curriculum. After seeing this we were amazed and more than ready to try it for ourselves.

His personal goal going into the program was a social focus: wanting to better understand his classmates and to be better understood by them. After just 5 days of his program his dysgraphia disappeared. After the full program he has shown significant improvement in emotional regulation (no more melt downs) as well as being able to completely get himself organized and going in the morning without micromanagement, remembering assignments remembering to bring everything home from school. His social life has also improved with increased self-confidence and new friends developing.
Having such a positive experience with our son led my husband to complete his own attention mastery program, and I completed a reading program as well: both of which have been equally successful.
This has impacted our family so much that, after 17 years of working as a registered nurse, I hung up that hat and, in the spring of 2025, began my training to learn how to do this work. I am doing this because it works, it’s life changing, and that’s something I can get behind.
I believe that these neurodivergent learners have incredible perceptual talents and an out-of-the-box approach to problem-solving that could revolutionize our country’s growth in science, engineering, mathematics and so much more. Working with these kids, creating a learning environment that is aligned with how their minds already work and process information is the key to unlocking this potential. This method removes the road blocks of communications, focus, and more and allows these learners to explode into who they are and their God given potential. As a learning specialist with Logos Learning Solutions LLC, I get to be a part of that.
